Rio Olympics Update #1

My head has been spinning the past couple days from the travel. First, it was off to Houston for processing. That was quite cool, with lots of gear and information. It was a very efficient process, but it was a maxed out day, especially after the long travel day to get there. Then it was off to Rio with a flight through the night on Sunday-Monday. I woke up in Rio and it took half the day just to get into our housing. But I was still able to squeeze in a short ride in the afternoon.

We rode a little bit of the course yesterday. It is pretty cool with some amazing ocean scenery, steep jungle climbs and downhills, as well as fast flat stuff. I am hoping to get out to see more today on a four or five-hour ride.
